Bloggers Wanderlust Travel

As a blogger one of my favourite past-times is reading other blogs and seeing what people have to say about places I’ve visited as well or plan on visiting. If you’ve ever been to my Pinterest boards, you’ll notice that it’s filled with posts from fellow bloggers, sitting there waiting for me to plan my next adventure with the help of my comrades. There are so many talented writers and bloggers out there so don’t get me wrong – this isn’t the be all end all list, in fact it’s just the tip of the iceberg for me and for the bloggers I follow. Some are full-time travelers and some are part-time like me but either way every single one of them has given me a serious case of wanderlust at one point or another. So without further adieu, get ready to suffer along with me and get your passport ready because you may just start booking a flight after reading these!

Young Adventuress

I have been following Liz and her adventures for quite some time. She truly is one of the most talented writers I know out there in the blogging world. She’s worked extremely hard to get to where she has gotten and I look up to her. I’m constantly awestruck by her pictures and can’t get enough of her down-to-earth attitude when it comes to recapping her latest adventures.

Hand Luggage Only

I discovered Hand Luggage Only through Pinterest and boy am I ever glad I did. These two former college roommates give you enough wanderlust to last you a lifetime. Yaya and Lloyd have been to more cities and countries than I care to count on their destinations page but it’s safe to say, you’ll likely be able to find information on wherever the world takes you next. They are also a great resource to learn more about photography (which I always am!)

Casual Travelist

Another fellow part-time wanderluster I really admire Brianna’s way of taking advantage of travel at any opportunity she can. She enjoys exploring local as much as more exotic places which is definitely something I can relate to. Her pictures are beautiful and her perspective is fresh and unique, definitely worth a read if you can handle the desire to want to get up and leave!

Going Awesome Places

I have admired Will’s blogging from afar for quite some time now even though we seemingly live in the same city (Will if you read this would love to meet up!) He has two fantastic blogs, one for travel and one for blogging which I have learned quite a bit from. Will has travelled far and wide, despite Toronto feeling far away from absolutely everything. His humour and informative nature make his blogs always a great read.

Two Scots Abroad

Gemma and Craig are definitely a breathe of fresh air. I love their Instagram account as much as I love their blog. They are a travelling couple and have been to some pretty amazing places. I love getting their perspective because I too travel as a pair my other half just isn’t creative so he leaves the blogging up to me! They packed up their lives and decided to travel for 18 months, following along their adventure will have you wanting to hand in your resignation letter immediately!

On the Luce

Lucy was one of the first travel bloggers I really started to follow. As a fellow part-time traveller she looks to take advantage of getting away every chance she gets. Lucy has the upper hand though, she’s lucky enough to be living in the UK! Her blog is easy to read, I love the layout and the way she describes destinations she’s been to. Her pictures will have you drooling!

The Globetrotting Teacher

Jackie is a teacher in her day to day life but also looks to travel as much as she possibly can. Lucky thing she gets quite a bit of vacation time being a teacher! She has travelled to many countries and her pictures of these places are quite inspiring. Jackie is another blogger I fell in love with through Pinterest, her pictures can easily fill up any bucket list board :).

Just One Way Ticket

Okay seriously do not read this blog if you never want to leave your job and live comfortably at home. Sarbrina’s story is an admirable one, and definitely courageous. Several years ago she picked up her life on a whim and basically never came home. She’s travelled all over the world and realized that ‘normal life’ just isn’t for her. Her blog and pictures keep you bouncing back and forth between a ‘normal life’ and one on the road, that’s for sure!

In Between Pictures

Diana, true to the name of her blog, takes unbelievable pictures. She’s a self-proclaimed romantic writer which is easy to see when reading just a couple of blog posts. Her writing is real, honest and keeps you wanting more. She has lived in four different countries and has loved every one of them. I only hope one day I can live in another country too!

Y Travel Blog

Caz and Craig are serial travel addicts. Together they have traveled to 52 countries and lived in 5. They are one of the first blogs I ever read that not only inspired me to travel more, but to start a blog as well. I still dream of one day taking off to travel for an extended period of time and reading their blog helps me to satisfy those dreams. Not to mention they are parents which gives me even MORE reason to envy them and their lifestyle! Hopefully it’ll happen one day, I just need to get my better half on the same page!

So there you have it – my favourite travel bloggers that help inspire me and keep me travelling even if they don’t know they do! Who are your favourite travel bloggers?
