There are so many Etsy travel shops that exist it really is hard to narrow it down to just 8. If you haven’t heard of Etsy (.. how?), it’s an online market place that lets amazingly talented people get their art and product out to the general public. One time I started an Etsy shop because I thought I was creative but that was short lived. It really made me realize how hard it is to set up and run a successful shop, so kudos to those who have managed to become super successful!
When it comes to giving gifts for birthdays, weddings, or special occasions, I’ll usually check Etsy first because it’s such an amazing place to find a unique gift. In fact, I know someone who even bought their wedding dress from an Etsy shop.
Here’s my a roundup of my favourite Etsy travel shops to help fuel wanderlust when you need it:
I love this little Etsy travel shop. All of the trinkets you’ll find here are handmade from Australia and super cute. Makiko strives to remind people to be happy, and browsing through the products she makes it’s not hard to see how she pulls this off. My personal favourite are the little planes with matching birthstones. It would make the perfect gift for someone special in your life who loves to travel.
This little Etsy travel shop creates one of a kind pieces. They praise themselves on having a personal touch and based on their reviews, you know you’ll be getting a great product with excellent customer service. My favourite is the passport holder with little sayings on them.
While this Etsy travel shop is a bit small, it’s might. Emily the creator has hand painted globes in beautiful colours and outlined the continents around the world. These globes would make a perfect trinket for home decor. It’s such a simple concept but Emily has truly made these globes into something beautiful.
While I first fell in love with this IPhone case from Flora, after visiting her shop I could see there were so many more products for people to fall in love with. She has anything from clutches to journals to travel mugs and all of them area beautiful.
Let’s be honest, guys are hard to buy for. I can’t tell you how many times I get stuck at what I should actually be buying Ben for Christmas or his birthday. These travel packs of grooming essentials from Kaya Soaps would make for a perfect stocking stuffer or part of a gift for the guy in your life. Obviously Kaya Soaps has so many other options for you to choose from so it won’t be just for the men in your life!
Any good traveler needs a journal, how else are you going to remember the little details once the trip is finished? I always carry a journal with me when I’m travelling and trust me, it comes in hand later. Happy Dappy Bits has created the cutest journals that you’ll love to carry around. There’s a number of other paper products to check out at the shop as well – I’m finding it hard to not buy anything!
Obviously I’m a fan of wall-art. I mean, every place we travel to we try to bring home a piece of original art. If it’s not original art it’s a print which is not the same thing but for the budget conscious it’s close enough. The art from the FeelGoodGift Shop are so simple and beautiful you’ll want to hang them all up in your apartment (or house)!
There you have it, 7 Etsy travel shops that are bound to keep your wanderlust at bay, even if just for a little bit. I always find filling my surroundings with travel trinkets is a great way to reminisce about my past trips and travel experiences to bide time until I take the next one.
